PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge and provide intermittent and fixed amount of various liquids such as adhesive, clean solder, phosphor, electrode material, grease, paint, hot melt, chemical and foodstuff at a high speed and with high precision in a production process in the field such as an electronic part, household appliances, and a display. SOLUTION: A method for discharging fluid arranges a fluid supply unit 1 providing fluid to two faces 10 and 11 which conduct relative movement to the direction of a gap, converts continuous fluid supplied from the fluid supply unit to intermittent fluid by using a change in pressure due to the shift of the gap in the above relative movement faces, and adjusts an intermittent discharge amount per dot by the number of rotation of the above fluid supply unit.
