PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prime mover controller for a self-propelled crusher capable of reducing energy loss while assuring constancy. SOLUTION: The prime mover controller is equipped with a fuel injection controller 139 for controlling the number of revolutions of an engine 61, a receiver 305 for receiving the operation signal of a foot switch 303 disposed in a driver's cabin of a hydraulic shovel 300, and a controller 84 for controlling the fuel injection controller 139 based on the operation signal received by the receiver 305 in such a manner that at least the number of revolutions of the engine 61 is reset from the previously set number of idling revolutions to the steady number of revolutions.
