PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide filter cloth for a bag filter, which consists of a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) short fiber having heat resistance, chemical resistance, excellent mechanical strength and dimensional stability. SOLUTION: This filter cloth consists of the PPS short fiber having≤10% elongation when stretched under 1.0 cN/dtex load and≥12% crimp ratio or the PPS short fiber having≤10% elongation when stretched under 1.0 cN/dtex load,≥12% crimp ratio and≥4.0 cN/dtex tensile strength.
