POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device with first and second one-way clutches, having simple and compact construction.

SOLUTION: The power transmission device comprises the first one-way clutch 1 for transmitting the rotating power of a pulley 3 to a rotating shaft 6 and the second one-way clutch 2 for transmitting the rotating power of a rotor 11 of a motor 10 to the rotating shaft 6. The first one-way clutch 1 is of an internal cam type and a first inner ring 7 has an engagement cam face formed on the outer periphery, while the second one-way clutch 2 is of an external cam type and an second outer ring 14 has an engagement face formed on the inner periphery. Thus, the meshing performance of the first one-way clutch 1 is improved and the heating of the second one-way clutch 2 is suppressed, which provides a longer service life of grease.
