PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method of data, in which illegal copy to CD-R (Compact Disc Recordable) is suppressed, and to provide a recording device, reproducing method, reproducing device, and recording medium of the data. SOLUTION: When there are no data recorded in a CD-R, identification information and data are recorded into the CD-R (steps 104, 114), and the identification information is stored in the device used in the recording (step 115). When data are recorded in CD-R, the identification information is read out from the CD-R, and when the read-out identification information is stored in the device, the data are permitted to be recorded into the CD-R (step 122), or when the read-out identification information is not stored in the device, the data are prohibited from being recorded in the CD-R (step 122).
