摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock-up clutch controller for a vehicle capable of being improved for the drivability by preventing an incongruous feeling from arising when executing change over to the engagement side of a lock-up clutch to unconventionally lower speed side during low-speed running in order to improve fuel consumption. SOLUTION: Changing the lock-up clutch 26 from relief side into engaging side of the lock-up clutch by turning the accelerator off is performed when a vehicle velocity V decreases after turning the accelerator off by a predetermined speed with a lock-up clutch controller 104, so that changing into the engaging side is performed in order to improve the fuel consumption together with turning the accelerator off to improve an engine rotational speed N<SB>E</SB>and the incongruous feeling is prevented from arising, and changing into the relief side even when turning the accelerator on immediately after turning the accelerator off is prevented from being performed, resulting in improving the drivability by preventing the busy feeling owing to repeatablity of turning of engagement accompanied with turning off from arising.
