PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding method for uniformly grinding a work surface to be ground having a plurality of curved surfaces of largely different radii of curvature by using an elastic grinding body. SOLUTION: The grinding method comprises a step of selecting at least two elastic grinding bodies 10a and 10b out of elastic grinding bodies having dome-shaped portions of a plurality of different radii of curvature regulated from the plurality of radii of curvature of the surface to be ground of a work, and a step of fitting the selected elastic grinding bodies 10a and 10b to exclusive grinding body fitting tools 20a and 20b to grind the surface to be ground of the work L2.
