PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compare a value of an analog signal with a predetermined value in a short time in a comparatively simple circuit. SOLUTION: The analog signal comparator is equipped with a first oscillation circuit (11A) for generating a first pulse signal, a second oscillation circuit (VCO 12) for inputting an analog signal and converting the analog signal into a second pulse signal for outputting, and a pulse width comparator circuit 13 for inputting the first pulse signal from the first oscillation circuit and the second pulse signal from the second oscillation circuit and comparing a pulse width of the first pulse signal from the first oscillation circuit with a pulse width of the second pulse signal from the second oscillation circuit.
