MODELLING METHOD FOR COMMUNICATION ARRESTER, ARRESTER AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication arrester capable of exactly grasping the transient characteristics of a thunder protection circuit in a communication apparatus and previously grasping the operation of the thunder protection circuit without breaking the apparatus. SOLUTION: This communication arrester is equipped with a voltage control type voltage source Eh1; a capacitor Ch for calculating dV/dt; a voltage source V4 for detecting the output voltage of a diode Dh1 outputting only a positive component of a voltage the capacitor Ch outputs; a voltage control type voltage source Eh2 for outputting a voltage to between terminals of a node N1 and a node N2 on the basis of the voltage the voltage source V4 detects; and a damping resistance Rh2 and an inductor Lh1, where a limit function is kept using a diode Dh2 having reverse breakdown characteristics, the inductor Lh2 expresses dV/dt characteristics, and a resistor Rh3 changes to current to take a current passing through the capacitor Ch side and a current passing through an inductor Lh2 side.
