PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope where the longitudinal-direction position and the rotational-direction position of a part projecting from the distal end face of the endoscope in a body to be inserted which is to be inserted to the conduit of the endoscope can be positioned. SOLUTION: The endoscope is provided with the conduit 120 for leading a pipe to be inserted 200 from a conduit port 124 formed on the distal end face of the endoscope. On the outside face of the distal end part 210 of the pipe to be inserted, a notch part 225 having a notch surface 228 for regulating a longitudinal direction and a notch surface 226 for regulating a rotating direction is formed. At the port 124 of the endoscope, an engaging part 125 having an engaging surface 128 for regulating the longitudinal direction and an engaging surface 126 for regulating the rotating direction is formed. When the body to be inserted is inserted to the conduit of the endoscope, the notch surface 228 of the notch part of the body to be inserted is abutted on the engaging surface 128 of the engaging part of the endoscope to regulate the longitudinal direction, and the notch surface 226 of the notch part of the body to be inserted is abutted on the engaging surface 126 of the engaging part of the endoscope to regulate the rotating direction.
