PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a state matching method in a radio ad hoc network in which two-way communication is realized in real time while reducing traffic by matching the state accurately while confirming the management state of each radio portable terminal periodically. SOLUTION: A terminal 1B transmits a state matching packet to communicable terminals 1A and 1C, the terminal 1C updates the management state, as required, based on that packet and transmits the state matching packet to a communicable terminal 1D. The terminal 1D repeats a processing for updating its management state, as required, based on that packet, sending management state altered in its terminal back to the source terminal 1C as shown by a dot line, and transmitting the state matching packet similarly to communicable terminals 1E and 1F, at each terminal at a specified period.
