PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telematics on-vehicle unit 1 for preventing destruction by carryring out preliminary voice guidance at a first spot in an ETC set toll gate in highway, and carrying out voice guidance/holding/mute even at a second spot whose location precision is improved in addition. SOLUTION: This telematics on-vehicle unit for carrying out a service or support to a person getting in a vehicle by making an on-vehicle unit and the outside execute information communication is provided with a GPS/speed control part and a gyro control part 12 for detecting the location information of a vehicle, a storage part for storing map information, each information processing part and voice synthesizing part 16 for executing voice guidance at a position B isolated by a predetermined distance from a narrow area communication position with ETC road side radio equipment 9, ETC on-vehicle equipment 2 for executing narrow area communication with the ETC road side radio equipment 91 and each information processing part and voice synthesizing part 16 for executing voice guidance at a narrow area communication position A where the narrow area communication is executed.
