PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TDMA communication apparatus which ensures stable operation of its own station by preventing the occurrence of slot allocation conflicts with other stations even when any of the other stations executes transmission in obvious violation of a defined protocol or against a spirit underlying a defined standard and rules. SOLUTION: If the own station detects, when transmitting a message that a slot S2 previously reserved for its own transmission is occupied by another station to be used as a reserved slot A for the station, the own station executes final transmission setting the slot currently used for sending the message as a slot S0. At the same time, the own station re-reserves a new slot S5 within an SI in a succeeding frame so that transmission from the own station at the new slot S5 does not conflict with transmission from the other station at the reserved slot SA.
