PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To multiplex communications without applying a load to a microcomputer for controlling a communication controller. SOLUTION: When a transmission register 33 of a main controller 30 receives a transmitted message from a microcomputer 21, the transmitted message is transferred to a transmission register 43 of a sub controller 40. Afterwards, a transmission processing part 37 and a transmission processing part 47 in the main controller 30 and the sub controller 40 perform transmission processing for multiplex transmission of a frame to a VSC-ECU 13, an AT-ECU 11 and the like. Therefore, the microcomputer 21 performs multiplexed communication with a processing load almost same as that of a communication controller that has only one port. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
