PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge transport material having two hydrazone groups, an organic photoreceptor containing this, an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, and an electrophotographic image forming method using this. SOLUTION: The organic photoreceptor comprises a conductive substrate and a photoconductive element on the conductive substrate, wherein the photoconductive element contains (a) a charge transport material having formula 1 and (b) a charge generating compound. In the formula 1, R1-R8are each independently alkyl, alkaryl, aryl or a heterocyclic group; X and X' are each independently an aromatic group; Z is a branched or linear linking group having the formula -(CH2)m-; and m is an integer of 1-30.
