PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous image reproduction system enabling a large image to be displayed in a wide space by using a plurality of portable terminals. SOLUTION: The synchronous image reproduction system includes a plurality of portable terminals 10 arranged in a space and a server 20 capable of mutually communicating with each of the portable terminals. The portable terminal transmits the information of the type of the terminal to the server, and the server transmits a program for image display in accordance with the type of each terminal to each of the portable terminals. Each portable terminal transmits the position where the image is reproduced, the server transmits the image data corresponding to the informed position to each portable terminal, and each portable terminal, by starting at a prescribed timing, displays the transmitted image according to the program.
