PASSING DEVICE FOR EASILY POLYMERIZABLE SUBSTANCE AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device preventing polymerization of an easily polymerizable substance at a route through which a vapor phase containing the easily polymerizable substance passes, and its use. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a cylindrical body 2 constituting a part of the route through which the vapor phase containing the easily polymerizable substance passes and the cylindrical body 2 is provided with a jacket 12 surrounding the outer periphery thereof. Pressure-reduced water vapor is passed in the jacket 12. The device can be applied to a distillation step in a preparation process of hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
