PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet ejection device capable of suppressing the generation of noise in data transmission of a drawing pattern and performing exact driving of a droplet ejection head, an electro-optic device manufactured by using such a droplet ejection device, a method for manufacturing the electro-optic device using such a droplet ejection device, and electronic equipment equipped with such a droplet ejection device. SOLUTION: The droplet ejection device is equipped with a head unit having the droplet ejection head, a head unit support 61 for supporting the head unit, an X-axis direction driving mechanism 6 for moving the support 61 and a head driving control section 130 for controlling driving of the droplet ejection head.
