PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for perfume removal, useful for readily and surely eliminating a scent. SOLUTION: The composition for perfume removal comprises (a) water, (b) ethanol and (c) one or more kinds selected from carboxylic acid esters and/or polyhydric alcohols which are dissolved in≥1 mass % in a mixed solution of water and ethanol in the mass ratio of water:ethanol of 1:1. In the composition, the component (c) is preferably one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of triethyl citrate, diethoxyethyl succinate, diethyl phthalate, dimethyl phthalate, isopropyl myristate, dibutyl adipate, diisobutyl adipate, dipropylene glycol and propylene glycol, especially preferably triethyl citrate.
