摘要 PURPOSE: A tray structure of an optical disk drive is provided to form a bottom surface such that a gap between the bottom surface and a lower surface of an optical disk can be variable according to a radius, thereby minimizing a pressure gradient and stably driving the optical disk. CONSTITUTION: An optical disk(1) housed inside a deck of an optical disk drive rotates at high speed by a driving shaft(2) of a spindle motor piercing through a center of a tray(3). The high-speed rotation of the optical disk(1) enables the air to flow along a gap between a lower surface of the optical disk(1) and a bottom surface of the tray(3). The bottom surface of the tray(3) is formed in streamline shape to maintain the gap between the lower surface of the optical disk(1) and the bottom surface of the tray(3).
