<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizer which can be stored compactly in the interior of a house, a car or the like, is small in size, light in weight and easy to use to deodorize the interior of a room and a car, prolongs the life of a deodorizing material by adsorption and decomposition of the odor, and remarkably improves the deodorization effect. <P>SOLUTION: Although about a few milliwatt per square meters of an intensity of ultraviolet rays can be obtained by an artificial light source, about 500mW/cm<SP>2</SP>can be obtained by sunlight, so this sunlight is utilized. A porous member having a photocatalyst and an adsorbent is disposed at the outside of a box and is also used as a blowout aperture so that a decomposition capacity is rapidly improved and a capacity of the adsorbent can be recovered by utilizing natural light (sunlight). A translucent photocatalytic honeycomb is used at the inside so that the surface of the translucent photocatalytic honeycomb, and the surface of the photocatalyst and the porous member having both of the photocatalyst and the adsorbent in the next room can be irradiated even with artificial light and the artificial light can be used efficiently. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
