<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery which is equipped with both superior high load characteristic and low-temperature characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: This battery has a battery element 20 in which a positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode 22 are laminated and wound via a separator 23 and an electrolyte 24. After a coating layer containing a high molecular compound, a highly viscous solvent in which the boiling point is higher than 150 °C, and an electrolyte salt is formed at the positive electrode 21 and the negative electrode 22, the electrolyte 24 is formed by injecting an injection solution containing a low viscous solvent in which the boiling point is 150 °C or less into the coating layer. The concentration of the low viscous solvent in the electrolyte 24 changes in the opposed direction of the positive electrode 21 and the negative electrode 22, and it is higher between the positive electrode 21 and the negative electrode 22 compared with the positive electrode 21 side and the negative electrode 22 side.
