<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer simple construction permitting good oil lubrication of a clutch for performing break/connection of a power transmission passage in an automatic transmission having multistage speed changing capability. <P>SOLUTION: In this clutch lubricating structure for the automatic transmission which permits oil lubrication of the clutch for performing break/connection of the power transmission passage in the automatic transmission, an oil retaining portion ST4 is formed at one end of a spline groove g4 of a clutch hub H4 of the clutch L/C, to be coupled in drive to a clutch plate, for restricting the flow of oil into a peripheral member arranged on the periphery of the clutch L/C. Thus, the oil retaining portion ST4 can restrict the flow of the oil from the spline groove g4 in the toothed face of the clutch hub H4 into the peripheral member 14 arranged on the periphery of the clutch L/C, permitting good oil lubrication of the clutch L/C in simple construction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
