PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal identification device which can easily identify a visitor. SOLUTION: Personal face image information and voice information are associated with each other to be stored in a storing portion 7. A face image of a visitor photographed by a camera 1 is identified with face images preliminarily stored in the storing portion 7 by a face identification portion 5, and whether or not a coincident face exists is determined by a determining portion 6. In the presence of a coincident face, the voice information corresponding to the face is read from the storing portion 7, and reproduced by a voice controller 16 to be outputted from an indoor speaker 14. Also, in the absence of a coincident face, the voice information of a visitor acquired by an entrance microphone 9 is associated with the face image information acquired by the camera 1 to be stored in the storing portion 7.
