PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for supporting telephone reception which can surely deal with a user inquiry. SOLUTION: The apparatus for supporting the telephone reception includes a history storage device for storing history of time and operation of a connection request from a telephone number by corresponding to the telephone number, and a service providing device for providing services in the case of the connection from the telephone number based on the history of the operation stored in the history storage device. The service providing device has a sensing unit for sensing the effect of the mistake of the operation by the user 20 of the telephone number by referring to the history storage device, an operator registering unit for registering an operator 14, and a connection switching unit for switching the connection from the telephone number to the operator registered with the operator registering unit when the sensing unit senses the mistake of the operation.
