PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helical antenna which matches its input impedance with the characteristic impedance of a usual feed line. SOLUTION: The helical antenna, for example, two-wire type helical antenna has an inductive reactance portion at a part connected to the feed point of a radiator element. The inductive reactance portion is e.g. a conductor wire having a fold back pattern of e.g. a meandering line. The length and the number of fold back times of one fold back pattern (one cell of the meandering line) of the conductor line having the fold back pattern are selected so that the input impedance of the helical antenna may match with the characteristic impedance of a feed line.
