PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable anyone to design without optical technical knowledge, know-how and the like in the case of making the system design of a lighting system and an imaging system used for an image processing device. SOLUTION: Design information about equipment for structuring the lighting system and the imaging system used for the image processing device and the arrangement of equipment are stored beforehand. As a user inputs the objective of performing image processing by the image processing device, a type of work which is a subject article of the image processing, information about environmental conditions of the lighting system and the imaging system, the design information about the equipment corresponding to the input information and the arrangement condition of the equipment are selected from the design information stored beforehand and outputted, and the lighting system and the imaging system are designed.
