PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-labeling identification apparatus and its identification method, which eliminate the need for labels to identify an object even in the case the presence or absence of the object is identified and so many kinds of objects are targeted. SOLUTION: In the apparatus, magnetic particles 12 are introduced into a channel 10 from an introducing mechanism 13, and each magnetic particle 12 moves individually in the channel 12. The magnetic particle 12 moves in accordance with a carrying force of a liquid carrying mechanism 14 when being little affected by external magnetic fields, but the moving speed of the magnetic particle 12 is varied when a magnetic field with prescribed strength is generated by electromagnets 16, 16 energized by a magnetic field control mechanism 17. The speed of the magnetic particle is detected by particle detectors 19, 20 and a speed detector 22, and identification processes are carried out by a polymer identification device 23.
