PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overprinting system of a printing machine, which enables easy initial adjustment in overprinting without imposing a heavy load or an economic burden on an operator. SOLUTION: This overprinting system is equipped with a plurality of printing units 2<SB>1</SB>-2<SB>6</SB>, a web unwinding part 3 and an in-feed part 4, an out-feed part 5 and a web winding part 6, and a DSP part for synchronously driving plate-cylinder driving servomotors 10<SB>1</SB>-10<SB>6</SB>of the respective printing units. At least one of the printing units serves as an overprinting unit, and the front and rear printing units, between which the overprinting unit is sandwiched, are set to serve as web feeding units. In the overprinting, the DSP part synchronously drives the plate-cylinder driving motor of the set overprinting unit and that of the web feeding unit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
