Growth promoting and imunpotentiator compositions for mammals using a milk casein phosphopeptide

A milk protein casein phosphopeptide is used in the manufacture of a medicament for promoting the growth of mammals wherein the medicament has an immunostimulatory effect, for immunopotentiation in mammals, and for activating immunoglobins. Preferably the immunoglobin is an immunoglobin against beta -lactoglobulin, Clostridium perfringens or Campylobacter coli. Also described are methods for non-human mammals.
