Injectable composition for stopping leaks is produced by extruding a mixture of 10-20 wt.% acrylonitrile/butadiene copolymer, 1-6 wt.% di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, 2-5 wt.% methyl ethyl ketone, 10-20 wt.% kaolin, 10-20 wt.% sodium silicate, 4-10 wt.% vitrified aluminum silicate, 5-20 wt.% wollastonite, 5-20 wt.% polytetrafluoroethylene and 10-30 wt.% benzoyl peroxide. An Independent claim is also included for stopping leaks by positioning a jacket around the leak and injecting the above composition into the jacket.
