<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording sheet which can be used outdoors on account of its superb water resistance and water blocking properties without printing failure and printed using a thermosensitive printer. <P>SOLUTION: This thermosensitive recording sheet 1 has a protecting layer 7 containing a liquid water-repellent substance microcapsule in order to coat and protect the surface of a thermosensitive color development layer 3 formed at a specified spot on a sheet base material.
