<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human monoclonal antibody against to AILIM, useful as a pharmaceuticals for therapy or prevention, for suppressing, preventing development and/or progress of various diseases relating to AILIM-mediated costimulatory signal transduction (the secondary signal), and to provide a pharmaceutical composition of the same. <P>SOLUTION: Various human monoclonal antibodies obtained by immunization of human antibody-producing transgenicmice, which have been created using genetic engineering techinques, wherein the antibodies bind to AILIM and control a variety of biological reactions associated with costimulatory signal (secondary signal) transduction (for example, cell proliferation, cytokine production, immune cytolysis, cell death, induction of antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), etc.).
