<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary refrigerator for restraining intrusion into a storage of floating bacteria existing in a life space. <P>SOLUTION: An ion generator 17 generates positive ions and negative ions, and is arranged in a ceiling part 13 of a refrigerator body 11. Ionized air including positive ions and negative ions is blown off forward from the ceiling part 13, and is diffused so as to cover the front of the refrigerator body 11.
