PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct blurring in image pickup in an image processor such as a video camera. SOLUTION: The data of an amount of discrete blurring is acquired. The data of the amount of blurring is interpolated at every line from the data of the amount of discrete blurring. The amount of blurring correction at every line is calculated from the amount of blurring prepared at every line. A reading position of pixel data is decided on the basis of the blurring correction. Pixel data is read on the basis of the decided reading position. When the pixel of the position that is to be read is the pixel that straddles the two pixels, the pixel data of the pixel positioned in the position which is to be read is generated (interpolated) from a plurality pieces of pixel data.
