WIRING BOARD AND RADIATION DETECTOR EMPLOYING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring board suppressing transmission of radiation, and a radiation detector employing it. SOLUTION: A wiring board section 2 having a wiring board 20 provided with a conductive member 21 becoming a conduction path of the detection signal in a through hole 20c is interposed between a radiation detecting section 1 comprising a scintillator 10 and a PD array 15, and an element 30 for processing a detection signal from the PD array 15. The through hole 20c of the wiring board 20 is formed such that the opening of the through hole 20c in a specified plane orthogonally crossing the conducting direction from an input plane 20a to an output plane 20b does not exist on the extension in the conducting direction of the opening of the through hole 20c in the input plane 20a and the through hole 20c cannot be seen through from the input plane 20a to the output plane 20b.
