PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator capable of surely suppressing sub-resonance B mode oscillation (about 1.09-1.08 times a C mode oscillation frequency) near C mode oscillation of main oscillation in a crystal oscillator using an SC-Cut one, without using a mechanical vibrator (made of crystal, ceramics, etc.). SOLUTION: In this piezoelectric oscillator circuit, a base bias circuit consisting of resistors R2, R3 is connected to a base of an oscillation transistor TR1, and a crystal vibrator Xtal1 and a capacitor C4 are serially inserted and connected between the base of the transistor TR1 and a ground. Further, a collector of the transistor TR1 is connected to a power supply voltage Vcc line, a capacitor C3 is connected between the base and the emitter of the transistor TR1, and a capacitor C2 which is serially connected to a parallel resonance circuit consisting of a capacitor C1 and an inductor L1 is connected between the emitter of the transistor TR1 and the ground so as to be in parallel with an emitter resistor R1.
