<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a track ball device capable of holding the touch of a ball fed back to an operator in a preset state. <P>SOLUTION: This track ball device comprises a touch response means 15 having rollers 3 and 4 rotatably supported in contact with the ball 2 and drive motors 11 and 12 for driving the rollers 3 and 4, and a torque control means 27 for controlling actual torque in rotations of the rollers 3 and 4 to a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
