摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method and a control device capable of performing the shifting without interrupting the motive power, and reducing the energy loss of a transmission with respect to a shifting element in a stepped automatic transmission. <P>SOLUTION: This control method of the shifting element in the stepped automatic transmission, adjusts the transmitting capacity of a fictional connecting element 2 in connecting the shifting element 1, and engages an engagement connecting element 3 when the engagement connecting element 3 is in a synchronous state.
