PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate calibration of a sensor device in the sensor device or more particularly, novel and improved method and apparatus for calibrating the sensor device. SOLUTION: An automatic calibration label is for use with one or more sensing devices. The label includes first coded calibration information and second coded calibration information. The second coded calibration information can deal with a device different from the first coded calibration information. The second coded calibration information can be used for providing further calibration information to be used with a first device. The label can be mounted detachably at a sensor package including a plurality of sensors. A first conductive ink pattern is disposed on the label to define the first coded calibration information. The first conductive ink pattern is disposed in the simultaneously existing manner with a part of the second conductive ink pattern for defining the second coded calibration information, or is disposed separately from the part.
