<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a space-saving, economical, and reliably protector for control circuit which is simply constituted and operates with reliability even if the voltage is high at power-on. <P>SOLUTION: The protector comprises: an inrush current limiting relay which is connected with a commercial power supply and is turned off at power-on; a control circuit which is connected with the commercial power supply through the limiting relay, operates according to the load, and comprises a converter circuit, a smoothing capacitor, an inverter circuit, and the like; an inrush current limiting resistance element which is connected in parallel with any power supply line between the control circuit and the commercial power supply, and limits inrush currents; a fuse which is connected in series with the limiting resistance element, and interrupts currents exceeding a predetermined value; and a voltage-dependent resistor which is connected between the load side of the fuse and the other side of the power supply line, and varies the resistance value according to the voltage of the commercial power supply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
