PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a domain name server (DNS) connected to a data network which makes a network element transmitting a data flow able to use effective and appropriate addresses. SOLUTION: The server includes a receiving means (R) for enquiry items including domain names, and a returning means of a response including one or more addresses connected to the domain name to the enquiry transmitter, and is characterised in that one or more addresses are administrated by the domain name server in the response.
