PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a magnetic field leaked from a saturable reactor. SOLUTION: This saturable reactor for generating a parabola current in a convergence correcting device is provided with a first drum core 11 with a primary side coil L1 and a secondary side coil L3 wound around a drum part, a second drum core 12 with a primary side coil L2 and a secondary side coil L4 wound around a drum part, a first permanent magnet 21 fixed to a guide part of the drum core 11 to generate a bias magnetic field and a second permanent magnet 22 fixed to a guide part of the drum core 12 to generate a bias magnetic field. The drum cores 11 and 12 are arranged side by side with cylindrical surfaces of drum parts facing each other, and the permanent magnets 21 and 22 are provided side by side on the same side of the drum cores 11 and 12 and generate bias magnetic fields in directions reverse to each other.
