DOUBLE-STRANDED OLIGONUCLEOTIDE ARRAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for suitably assaying an interaction of an oligonucleotide with a biomolecule or its aggregate by using an array in which double-stranded oligonuleotides are immobilized.

SOLUTION: The double-stranded oligonucleotide array is obtained by immobilizing a plurality of double-stranded oligonucleotide sequences on a metal substrate. The first single-stranded oligonucleotide in the double-stranded oligonucleotide sequences is linked to the substrate. The second single-stranded oligonucleotide is bound wholly or partially complementally to the first oligonucleotide.
