<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the interference of electromagnetic waves without requiring a special facility even when the radio tag reading areas of a plurality of radio tag systems are at least partially overlapped. <P>SOLUTION: Radio tag systems 2 and 3 are respectively provided with object detecting means 5 and 6 for detecting an object entering radio tag reading areas A1 and A2 of the radio tag systems. Then, when an object is detected by either the object detecting means 5 or 6, a radio tag system controller main body 1 controls the radio tag system corresponding to the object detecting means which has detected the object to perform a radio tag information reading operation using radio, and controls the other radio tag system not to perform radio tag reading operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
