<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform a brightness correction. <P>SOLUTION: The organic EL display device is configured so that a correction value calculation expression prescribing the relation of black level offset values to pixel positions is stored in a correction offset generating circuit 24. Then, the organic EL display device calculates correction data according to pixel positions of input image data and adds them.
