<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display driver which generates a signal for prescribing the fetching start timing of display data in the inside, and to provide a display device equipped with the display driver. <P>SOLUTION: The display driver 30 includes: a data fetching start indication signal generating circuit 140 for generating a prescribed data fetching starting indication signal; a data latch 100 for fetching the display data at data fetching timing whose fetching start timing is prescribed by the data fetching starting indication signal; and a data line driving circuit 130 for driving a plurality of data lines based on the display data fetched by the data latch 100. The data fetching start indication signal generating circuit 140 includes a fetching start timing setting register 142 which sets the data for specifying the display data fetching start timing, and generates data fetching start indication signal which changes when a period corresponding to the contents of setting of the fetch start timing setting register 142. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
