PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set having a game program for making the user enjoy receiving a call or mail to the portable telephone set by linking the telephone function of the portable telephone set with a prize service, and also to provide a server for providing service corresponding to a game result performed in the portable telephone set and a service provision method.

SOLUTION: The portable telephone set is provided with the game program for displaying the game result based on the game program to a display means. A game based on the game program is started in response to the call termination or call origination of the portable telephone set. In response to connection cancellation of the call termination or call origination of the portable telephone set or after the lapse of prescribed time, the game result for providing a specified benefit for the user of the portable telephone set is displayed on the display means.
