<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical wire device which includes a filter unit, constituted so as to certainly trap a free embolus forming substance at the time of angioplasty, enables an operator to easily confirm the developed state of a filter under fluoroscopy and can be enhanced in its function as the filter unit. <P>SOLUTION: The medical wire device is constituted of the filter unit positioned on the distal side of the constricted region of a lumen when the angioplasty of the constricted region is performed to trap the free embolus forming substance peeled from the inner wall of the constricted region and a wire having the filter unit provided in the end part on the distal side thereof. The filter is constituted of a metal having X-ray contrast properties and has a mesh structure composed of a metal wire material with a strand diameter of 10μm or below and having a tensile strength at break of 1,000 N/mm<SP>2</SP>or below. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
