PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform shading correction with a simple constitution, flexibly in accordance with characteristics of an optical system and accurately. SOLUTION: A distance calculating part 12 calculates a distance value RV from the position of an optical axis from a horizontal coordinate value HC and a vertical coordinate value VC of a pixel. A correction data calculating part 13 receives the distance value RV and calculates correction data CD with respect to the pixel by referring to an approximate function indicating the relation between the distance value and the correction data. The approximate function is divided into several intervals and is expressed as a quadratic function in each interval.
